Adana is the Adarin from the Inferno universe.
Appearance[]
Adana is played by Emilia Clarke. She mostly resembles a standard human, although when she became an angel she gave herself white feathered wings with dusk blue tips.[1]
History[]
Background[]
Adana and her brother Zane were raised in the lunar colony Barthalamos by their adopted father Vernon. She became a licensed summoner when she turned eighteen.[2]
Space Station[]
A few years after Adana gets her license, an air filtration system's air duct breaks and the resulting oxygen shortage threatens to force the colony to cut off air to inhabited parts of the station. To prevent this, Adana hastily summons an ungagged demon.[3] Campbell Swan answers her summons and agrees to build her a space station in exchange for a booklist, which Adana uses to rescue the colonists from suffocation.[4]
Harmony[]
Since her space station is in a different jurisdiction, Adana has to apply for a new summoning license from the Harmony space station.[5] With advance permission she summons Cam again to act as proof of her binding abilities, but they are stopped on the way to Harmony by a pirate who wants to keep Adana as a pet summoner.[6] Out of desperation, she snaps Cam's binding; he rescues her and they agree to work together longer-term before continuing to Harmony.[7]
Partnership[]
Adana and Cam build themselves a thriving financial empire based on Cam's abilities.[8] As they work Cam explains the secrets of daeva to Adana, and eventually the two begin dating.[9] This goes over poorly with Zane when he arrives unexpectedly and thinks Cam is extorting her, but Adana talks him down.[10] They begin work terraforming Mars, but during one expedition the summoner working with Adana panics whens she sees Cam's binding, and she kills Adana to prevent Cam going rogue.[11] She wakes up in Heaven as an angel, unable to contact Cam.
